Boots seemed to be very good quality, but unfortunately did not fit my feet at all. I’ve worn a 9.5 EE for years. The boots I got in that size looked like an 11 regular. They were very long on me but my outer toes rubbed badly after only having them on for a few minutes. No knock on the build quality or features; that part seemed great. Just didn’t fit my feet.
I got these for my Boyfriend, because he works at a scrapyard ,and he torch cuts metal with an oxygen acetylene torch and due to the hot heat ,sparks, and molten metal dripping down caused a few pairs of his shoes got ruined even though he wore leather shoe covers ontiop of his shoe, so after he ruined a 200 dollar pair of leather boots in 2 months . i researched heat resistant smelter/firefighter boots and i came across and ad for the Iron Age Forefighter boots so i ordered a pair and at first they hurt my boyfriends feet because they are so heavyduty and don't have much give but after i took then to a shoe repair shop to get streched plus my boyfriend wearing them all the time these boots got broke in and it been 3 months and my boyfriend still loves these boots there is hardly any wear or tear, but we did have to get new kevlar laces for these boot but other than that these boots are one of the toughest boots i have ever see ,and i would highly recommend them to everyone .
Best boots I have ever owned. Tough as hell.
